Patrick T. Anderson

ANDERSON, Patrick T. – It is with deep sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Patrick Thomas Anderson, age 76, who departed this life on Tuesday, October 14, 2025.  Born January 24,1949 in Guelph, Pat was a proud grandfather and great grandfather.

Pat is survived by his three stepdaughters, Shelley (Scott) Barclay; Cindi Downes; and Deanna Downes; his grandchildren Katherine, William, Robert James, Paul and James; and his great grandchildren, Jamie Taylor, Owen, Robert and Grayson. He also leaves behind siblings Bob Anderson, Kathy Anderson, Tom (Sherrie) Prior, Bill (Debbie) Prior and Richie (Sue) Prior.  Pat was preceded in death by his wife Sarah Marie Anderson (nee Downes/Riddolls), his parents, John Patrick Anderson and Lyla Prior (nee Anderson/Gallagher) and siblings Sharon Anderson and Debbie (Peter) Tremblay.

He was known for his willingness to share advice and his passion for woodworking, darts, and horseshoes. Pat was always willing to help anyone in need of a handyman.

The family would like to thank Guelph General Hospital Emergency Department and Paramedic staff for their excellent care.

Pat will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
