Carol A. Dawes

DAWES, Carol Anne – Of Guelph, passed away at the Guelph General Hospital on Monday, November 3, 2025 at the age of 83.   

Beloved wife of 63 years to the late Bruce (2023). Loved mother of Bruce (Carol), Cheryl (Randy), and Steve. Loving grandmother of Crystal (Stephen), Alicia, Caitlyn, and Stephanie. Great grandmother of Zoey and Violet. Dear sister to Ken, Kathy, and Jim. Carol will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and her cherished dog, Walter.  

Carol was an avid baseball, football, and hockey fan, she spent many nights cheering on her favourite sports teams. Being an early riser, this gave Carol a chance to tune in to Breakfast Television before she began her day. Family was a big part of her life, she enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids; creating wonderful memories that will be cherished forever.  

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, November 8, 2025 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at 58 Bagot Street, Guelph. Arrangements entrusted to the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com.

A tree will be planted in memory of Carol A. Dawes in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest.
