Constance (Connie) R. Boughner

BOUGHNER, Constance R. – It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Constance Rose “Connie” Boughner (née Barber) on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at Hospice Wellington in Guelph, Ontario, after a brief illness.

Loving wife of Roy Boughner, treasured mom of Sherry McConnell (Dave), and Denise Boughner (Ken), and proud Grams to Ryan Herron and her grand puppy Lucy, as well as cherished family member to many siblings, cousins, nieces, and nephews in both Ontario and Western Canada.

Born in Acton, Connie’s warm, kind, and generous spirit touched the hearts of many wherever she went in Acton and in Guelph. She will be fondly remembered by family, friends, and the community at the Village of Riverside Glen where residents were always met with her kind smile.

An avid baseball fan, Connie could often be found cheering on her grandson at the park or cheering on her Blue Jays on TV, fighting right alongside her Jays as they chased a World Series.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the doctors and nurses at both Guelph General Hospital and Hospice Wellington for the incredible care provided, ensuring that her final hours were extremely comfortable, pain free, and surrounded by love and the family she cherished so dear.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date and will be announced.
