GRANT, Peter Derek – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Peter Grant, our much-loved husband, father and poppy, November 10th, 2025, at the age of 85. He passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family in Guelph, Ont.
Peter was born on August 5th, 1940 in Dorking, UK and was raised in Wimbledon. He immigrated to Canada in 1966 and was soon joined by his wife Bridget. Peter was a proud, long-standing member of Local 527, the Plumbers and Steamfitters Union. Peter loved cooking his favourite vegetarian meals, sitting on the front porch with his wife Bridget enjoying a cup of coffee and his favorite chocolate.
Creative, dependable, and known for his terrific sense of humour, Peter brought warmth and laughter wherever he went. He had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and cherished any opportunity to spend time with his family.
Lovingly remembered by his wife Bridget of 57 years, and their children: Anne (Jerome), Claire (Stephane) Sarah (Dwayne). Grandchildren: Taylor (Dustin), Colin (Sam), Chloe (Kiri), Sebastian, Aiden and Grace. Great grandchildren: Lucas and Logan. Peter’s brother Michael (Margaret) son Andrew and family (UK), Ian and family (USA, UK) and sister Kathy Grant (UK).
