So long our bomb diggity……
On November 11th, 2025 our courageous mother Yvonne Helen Marie Nahnybida chose her own path in death as she did in life. Cradled in the arms of her children and surrounded by family, at 14.44.14 Mom passed peacefully at the age of 72 at Joseph Brant Hospital.
Her legacy is a story to be told in verse as it was to be witnessed in life. For those of us who were fortunate enough to feel and know her, we are naturally blessed.
She was the daughter of a WW11 Canadian soldier who brought home a Belgium nurse creating a beautiful family of 4…..
At the age of 12, Mom & her family tragically lost their mother and Mom quickly transitioned into the matriarchal role. Yvonne took care of her family while completing and graduating Bracebridge high school. She went on to thrive both personally & professionally.
The life events that followed paints a picture of a woman who fought tirelessly and fully for all the people she loved……. that’s how she was made….. and that’s what defines the people she left behind.
We could not be more proud to have the honor of Yvonne in our words, let alone our life.
