Gesche (Grace) Schwartkop (nee Kelting), lover of all things nature, passed away at home on January 26, 2026, at the age of 83. Predeceased by Klaus, her husband and partner in adventure, she is lovingly remembered by daughter Angela and son-in-law Michael, sister Annegret, brother Gustav, and sister-in-law Ingrid.

A tree will be planted in memory of Gesche Schwartkop in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest.
