GRIFFIN, Betty Dolores – Passed away peacefully in her 94th year at Guelph General hospital on June 29th.
Predeceased by her parents, mother Pauline and father Charles Rollstone Griffin. Dear sister to brothers LLoyd and Paul, predeceased. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Dearly missed by friends and neighbours. Lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her daughter Corinne.
Betty was born and raised in Stettler, Alberta where her father was a grain buyer and grain elevator operator. She spent her last 65 years living in Guelph, a community she was happy to call home.
Betty will be remembered for her optimistic, warm, friendly and kind hearted spirit, her unshakeable commitment to independence, her sense of humour, her love of animals and her beautiful knitting and crochet work.
Thank you to the nurses and doctors at Guelph General Hospital.
As per her wishes cremation has taken place and no funeral or service will be held.

In lieu of flowers a donation to the Alzheimer’s Society or the Guelph Humane Society would be appreciated.
