WITKOS, Bronislaw – With heavy hearts, we share that Bronisław Witkoś passed away on August 14, 2025 at the age of 71. We will remember him as strong-willed and compassionate, even at his hardest moments, and we cherish the time we had with him; Our lasting memories will soften our hearts now and forever.
Growing up in the countryside of Opatowiec in Poland with his parents, Anna & Stefan Witkoś, and his two brothers, Krystian & Kazimierz, he was living and caring for a farm in a small town. On February 28, 1981 he married his beautiful wife Grażyna and was given an opportunity to immigrate to Canada to give his family a better life. He dedicated two years to securing a job and buying a house before immigrating the rest of the family. Having four children there were a lot of hardships, but, his resilience, hard work and the kindness of his friends and family it helped him persevere.
He applied these three important principles to everything he did. He started his own company in 2001 and always made sure that he treated his employees with kindness and compassion. Bronek was always known to help people. Whether it was giving advice or offering a helping hand, he always believed that treating people with respect was the most important value in life. He stood by the phrase “No matter what happens in life, be good to people. Being good is the best legacy you can leave behind.” With pride, he was able to leave his children with not only a future but the same mindset and his legacy can live on.
Bronisław is survived by his loving wife Grażyna Witkoś, cherished children Cyryl, Karina, Konstancja & Marta, treasured grandkids Kaja, Dominik, Mia, Mikołaj, Zander, Nolan & Oscar and brothers Krystian and Kazimierz.
Everything he did was for his family. He loved that he was able to see his children and grandchildren almost every day. He loved his seven grandkids dearly and always made time for them. He will truly be missed but his impact will stay forever.
Forever in our hearts.
