CAMPBELL, Carol – It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of my mom, Carol Campbell.
After a very brief but courageous battle with kidney disease and multiple myeloma we are grateful she is now at peace. We are at ease knowing she will be with her love John Blacklock who passed away in 2022.
Carol leaves behind her daughter Michelle (Chris) and her two granddaughters Mia and Evelyn who will miss her dearly, she was always known as “Nana kitties”.
Carol was the youngest of 11 kids, and leaves behind her only living sibling Linda who resides in St Johns, NFLD. Carol is predeceased by her parents John and Providence.
In her spare time, Carol had a new found love of building Lego, decorating diamond dots, and being around her feline companion, Daisy. Carol loved the seniors building she was apart of and enjoyed the many conversations with the other residents.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no service.
The family wishes to thank the nurses and doctors of 6 west at Guelph General, along with the chemotherapy team at Grand River.
Arrangements entrusted to the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com.
Donations can be made to the Guelph General Hospital Foundation.
A tree will be planted in memory of Carol A. Campbell in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest.
