PRITCHARD, David B. – It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of David Pritchard, who died in Toronto on December 15, 2025.
David was born on February 3, 1950, in Guelph, Ontario, to Mary and Ted Pritchard. He was predeceased by his sisters Susan (2008) and Janet (John, 2021), and by his beloved son Patrick (Christine).
David will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his grandson August, and by Minerva (Tadao), who held a special place in his heart. He is also remembered with love by his nieces Peggy (Andy) and Trish (Mark), his great nephew Cameron (Emily), and his great niece Melissa.
David spent most of his working life as a diesel mechanic, a trade he took pride in, and home renovation work whenever he could.
He loved being around family and rarely missed a gathering, holiday, or celebration. David was happiest when surrounded by people, conversation, and good company. A lifelong dog owner, he shared many years with his loyal companions, most recently his boxer, Tippy.
David was known for his strong interest in politics and never shied away from sharing his views or engaging in spirited discussion. His opinions were firm, his conversations memorable, and his presence unmistakable.
