McDougall, Elizabeth Margaret Gwendoline, “Gwen” (nee Baxter) – Of Guelph-Eramosa, was called to her Heavenly Home on Sunday, November 27th, 2022.
Beloved wife of the late Gordon McDougall (2005). Loved mother of Brian (Yvonne), Eric (Deborah), and Moira McDougall. Precious Grandmother to Joel (Hailey), Mark (Esther), Jenny Frankoski (Nathaniel), and Brianna McDougall. Special Great Grandmother of Martha, Miriam, Adam and Sandra. Dear sister of Rev. Dr. Ronald and Glenys Baxter. Predeceased by sister Florence McCallum and brothers Eric, Samuel and Cecil Baxter. Gwen was also predeceased by her infant son, Ian (1958) and daughter-in-law, Sandra (2006). Gwen cherished her loving sisters-in-law, Sheila, Audrey, Margaret, Ruth and Judi. She will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews who enjoyed summer adventures at the farm, visits to Sauble Beach, and family dinners.
Her life-long desire was inspired by a childhood chorus, “I want my life to count for Jesus”. She wanted each and every person she met to know the love of God.
