CLOUGH, Edward Arthur (Rick) – Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family Tuesday, October 13, 2015, after a courageous battle with cancer. Rick is survived by his wife of 66 years, Mae Belle (Hall), his son Allan (Janice) and daughters Jan Sherman and Karen Bushell (Rob). He will be sadly missed by his six grandchildren, Rebecca (Lisa), Jeremy (Jenn), Joel (Jessika), Lauren (Scott), Jessica and Kathleen (Jerrett), and his five great grandchildren, Aiden, Lyla, Christopher CJ , Dakota and Brody. Predeceased by his parents Arthur and Kathleen, and an infant sister Arleen. After many years of service, Rick retired as a sergeant of the Guelph Correctional Centre. During his life, Rick was a Past President of the Kinsman Club of Guelph. He coached minor hockey and baseball. He was a member of the 1949-1951 Guelph Biltmore Junior B. hockey team, and an avid Guelph Storm fan. He will be missed by all who knew him. Friends will be received at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, Thursday (7-9 p.m.). Funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, October 16, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. Reception to follow in the Wall-Custance Family Reception Centre. Interment Memory Gardens, Breslau. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions brain cancer research or St. David St. Patrick’s Church would be appreciated by the family.
