CLARK, George “Chic”
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our dad on Friday, September 19, 2025 at St. Joseph’s Health Centre at the age of 89.
Beloved husband of the late Barbara (2020), his wife of 64 years. He will be greatly missed by his children Cindy (Dan), Randy (Cindy), Rod (Susie), Shawna (Mike) and Melanie/Naine his Grandchildren Brittany (Kevin), Cale, Chad (Amanda), David, Sarah, Jason, Taylor (Stephanie), Rebecca (Brandon), Adam (Lelaina), Sara, Danielle (Dylan), Cassandra and his 19 Great Grandchildren. Dear brother to Mavis and Tiny and brother-in-law to Nancy and Helen. Predeceased by his parents Irene and George and sisters Betty and Margaret.
Known by “Chic” to most, he lived his entire life on the family farm in Puslinch where he raised black angus cattle, pigs and chickens as well as working full time at Stelco until his retirement. Afterwards he spent many years teaching his passions to his grandchildren, all of whom adored him.
Many vacations were spent with family and friends at “Camp Creek” on the Abitibi River in Iroquois Falls where they would hunt, fish and enjoy the peace and quiet along the river.
He will be interred with Barbara at Crown Cemetery at a later date.
Many thanks to all the staff at St. Joseph’s that cared for George over the past 3 years, his family will be forever grateful.

A tree will be planted in memory of George E. Clark in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest.
