Gwendolyn L. (Gwen) Johnston
JOHNSTON, Gwendolyn (Gwen) L. (nee Monk) – Of Guelph, passed away peacefully at the Guelph General Hospital on Friday, September 30, 2016, in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late Donald B. Johnston (2014). Loved mother of Debbie (Brian) Guthrie, Brad (Pat) Johnston, and Alan (Sheila) Johnston. Nana will be sadly missed by Kelly (Lee), Kendra (Brandon), Karen (J.P), Matthew, Danny, Darcie (Dave), and Paige (Jessie). Loving GG of nine great grandchildren. Dear sister of Dorothy Field. Sister-in-law to Bob (the late Shirley) Johnston, and Glenn (Yvonne) Johnston. Friends will be received at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, Tuesday (2-4 and 7-9 p.m.). Funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park, Guelph. Memorial contributions to the Alzheimer Society or to the charity of ones choice would be appreciated.
