McKINNON, Helen Anne –
Of Guelph, passed away peacefully at the Guelph General Hospital on Tuesday, April 30, 2019, with family by her side.
Helen, beloved daughter of Helen (Nellie) Annie Perry and the late Stanley George Perry, was the cherished mother of Michele Douglas (Vic) and Lori McKinnon (Bill), loving grandmother of Danielle Douglas and dear sister of the late Gail Streeter (Bill), Jean Morrison (John), and Paul Perry (Bernie). She was a wonderful aunt, friend and neighbour who will be dearly missed.
Helen was an avid quilter and member of the Royal City Quilters Guild. And her talent for baking was unsurpassed! She had a big heart and was a kind and generous soul, loved by many. Her death is our worlds loss and heavens gain.
A service to celebrate Helens life will be held at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at 11 am.
Memorial contributions to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
