LASEUR, Larry – Passed away at home on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at the age of 71.
He was predeceased by his mother, Margaret Laseur (nee Van Tamelin), father, Arnold Laseur and brother, Tony Laseur. He is survived by his loving wife, partner and best friend, Jill Rogers, as well as many cousins and Jill’s parents, siblings and nieces.
Larry had an interesting and varied work life that led him to time spent in numerous provinces of Canada as well as other countries. He served as a member of the Canadian Armed Forces for a decade and then worked in the transportation industry, operating many different types of vehicles from trucks and buses to heavy equipment. He moved various goods as well as people both short and long distances. His perfect driving record and his focus on safety and attention to detail, made him a valued employee of many companies.
In his senior years, Larry became a member of the Guelph Wellington Senior’s Association, took up golfing and strongly supported Jill in her career.
Larry will be remembered by his wife as a kind, ethical, loving man who lived life on his own terms and forged his own path. She will miss his keen intellect, problem solving abilities and insight that were a strong guiding force in her life. Thank you for all that you were and all that you gave. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure. You will live in my heart forever.
