HEWITT, Lilian Mary –

Of Guelph, passed away peacefully at the Guelph General Hospital on Thursday, September 26, 2019, in her 92nd year.

Beloved wife of the late Elmer (1998). Loved mother of Sharon Holt (the late Wayne, 2017), Donna Maher (the late Gord, 2002), Larry Hewitt (Lynn) and Laurie Yorke (Joe). Dear sister of the late Peter Clark (Iris). Will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Lilian worked for Hammond Manufacturing for many years. She loved spending time with her family, knitting and crocheting.

Friends will be received at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph on Monday, September 30, 2019 from noon until 1 pm. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 1 pm. Reception to follow in the Wall-Custance Family Reception Centre.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
