Lyle F. Kraft

KRAFT, Lyle Frederick – passed away peacefully early morning on June 11th surrounded by his family at Guelph General Hospital in his 84th year.

He leaves behind his beloved wife Elsie of 56 years, his 3 children – Lisa (Merv Budd), Mark (Nicole Kraft) and Shawn. Loving grandfather of Josiah (Natalie Budd), Danielle (Dan Chapman), Kayla Kraft, Jeremy Kraft and great grandfather to Lincoln Budd. Beloved brother of Sheila (Peter Ferguson), and Bill (Brenda Kraft) and many nephews and nieces.

Lyle was born in Hanover, Ontario and spent 24 years at General Motors. Lyle was a talented and crafty handy man in everything from cars to woodworking and remodelling homes. During retirement, Lyle and Elsie spent winters as snow birds in Arizona and enjoyed travelling together.

Although Lyle was a man of few words, he dearly loved his family and his little dog Zoey. He had a strong faith and was always active in his church.

Service to celebrate the life of Lyle will be held on Saturday June 17th at 11 am at North Burlington Baptist Church, 1377 Walker’s Line, Burlington. A light lunch to follow.  To join remotely, click on this live stream link.

Memorial donations can be made to Goshen Baptist Church in Tillsonburg or the Kidney Foundation.
