Marc Troyer

TROYER, Marc – Of Guelph, passed away at St. Joseph’s Health Centre on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at the age of 71.   

Beloved husband of 51 years to Gloria. Loved father of Dylan and Graham. Dear brother of Jennifer, Jill, Scott, Peggy, and the late John. Beloved son of the late Warner and Margaret Troyer. Loving uncle to several nieces and nephews. He will be fondly remembered by extended family and friends.

Marc loved to write. Following in family footsteps, Marc took to journalism and wrote many wonderful articles.  He was editor and writer for the Guelph Life Magazine.  Marc was also one of the original brew masters for Wellington Brewery. He was able to share his love of beer with everyone.

Marc and Gloria loved to travel; always looking forward to their next great adventure including almost a year in Europe. These memories will be cherished forever.

A service will be held at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at 11 am.  Arrangements entrusted to the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com.
