CROSS, Robert (Bob) Gary 

July 19, 1952 – January 30, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we share the peaceful passing of Robert Gary Cross, known as Bob, at the age of 73.

Bob will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, Barbara Ann Cross (née Speers), with whom he shared over 50 years of partnership. He was a devoted father to Nicole (Jake) and Courtney (Chris) and lovingly known as “Grandpa Bob” to his four cherished granddaughters: Maeve, Molly, Avery, and Chloe. He is also survived by his brother, Brian (Pat).

A lifelong Guelphite, Bob was born to Ted and Margaret Cross. He was a private man, but those who knew him well appreciated his sharp sense of humour and his remarkable ability to fix just about anything.

Bob was an incredibly hardworking and dependable man who took great pride in providing for his family. He found happiness in life’s simple pleasures—watching Blue Jays games, listening to the Beatles, barbecuing for family gatherings, walks with the dog, and spending weekends watching golf.

Loyal, steady, and deeply proud of his daughters, Bob treasured every moment spent with his granddaughters. His quiet strength, dedication, and love will remain in the hearts of all who knew him. We love and miss you, Dad.

Cremation has taken place. A private family celebration of life will be held.
