Sheila L. Ross

ROSS, Sheila Louise – It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our mom, Sheila Ross (nee McNamara) on March 11, 2026 after a lengthy journey with Alzheimer’s. 

She was known for her nurturing, caring and wise nature. And loved by many for the way she lifted people up and gave them hope. 

Sheila is survived by her loving family, Tracy, Kelly, Cam, Connor, Kylie and Mahin, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. 

Predeceased by her husband and best friend Dave Ross and her siblings Herb & Bonnie, Les & Bess, Doreen & Ben and in-laws Betty & Harry.

Special thanks to the staff who went above and beyond for mom at Chartwell Wellington on Janefield. 

We will be forever grateful for the extraordinary and compassionate care mom received from the staff at Wellington Terrace (Maple Ridge) during the last chapter of mom’s life.

Friends will be received at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph on Saturday, March 21, 2026 from 9:30-11a.m. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11a.m. Reception to follow in the Wall-Custance Family Reception Centre. Arrangements entrusted to the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Sheila’s name may be made to Wellington Terrace long term care.
