RAGBIR, Soogan (Sue) – Passed away at the Village of University Gates on Monday, September 15, 2025 – 90 years of age

Beloved wife of Chan Ragbir – Married 1953-2025 (73 years). Loved mother of Lealayhe, Savi (John), Romeo (Leela), Moe (Deb), and Rita (Anoop). Loving grandmother of Danielle (Katlyn), Natalie, Sessha, Suceil, Sangita, Rachel (Brandon) Ramesh (Natasha), Elyse, Elizabeth, Nicole, Suresh, and Sunita. Loving great grandmother of Phoenix, Falcon and Nazanin. Dear sister of Rampersad, Joe, Taitree, Basdeo, Dookhan, Pye, Sookdeo, Siewdath, and Darling. Survived by her husband, Chan Ragbir, her five children, 12 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents and eight siblings.

Let us remember Sue for LOVE – the LOVE of her family and the LOVE of her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. 

Sue was a beautiful and amazing woman with many accomplishments. She would be humble about her achievements, but would be most boastful and proud of her family especially her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

Although we are sad about the loss of our mom, we know that she is with Jesus … no more pain, no more suffering. She will continue to live in our hearts and her legacy will carry on.

Funeral service will be held at Parkview Church, 89 Speedvale Ave E, Guelph, on Friday, September 19, 2025 at 11:00am. For those who are unable to attend the service but wish to watch remotely, you can do so by clicking this link. Reception to follow in the church hall.
