ELLIS, Starr (Retired Associate Registrar, Admission Services, University of Guelph)
Starr peacefully passed away at home on Sunday, May 31st, 2020, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her loving parents Alison (Draper) Ellis and Norman Ellis.
Starr worked for more than thirty years at the University of Guelph. She was a mentor, friend and advisor to countless university staff, faculty, and students, and had a stellar professional reputation. She was highly respected by her colleagues at the University of Guelph and other universities throughout the province. Starr had a special way of touching everyone she encountered with warmth and caring. She was dearly loved by her close friends who will miss her quick wit, wisdom, and constant support. She was an outstanding woman.
