LASKO, Steve Andrew (LACZKO, Istvan Andras) – Of Guelph, formerly of Stirling, passed away peacefully at home in his favourite chair on Monday, January 23, 2023. He was enjoying a well-deserved nap after spending the day doing yoga and volunteering at Habitat for Humanity.
Steve was born in Hungary on June 20, 1939 and lived in Canada for 60+ years. Steve was always very proud of his Hungarian and Canadian heritage.
Beloved wife and best friend of 55 years, Gail Frances (nee Smith). Dear father of Kenneth George (Lara) and Brian Stephan (Lynda). Grandpa will be sadly missed by grandson Quinn Patrick.
At his request, cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL (519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Steve’s memory can be made to Habitat for Humanity (Guelph).
A tree will be planted in memory of Steve A. Lasko in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest.
