EVANS/MISCH, Virginia – It is with sadness and heartache the family of Virginia Ruth Evans/Misch announces the passing of their Mother at Royal Terrace Nursing Home, on Thursday, July 31, 2014, in her 86th year. Virginia will be sadly missed by her children, Kevin Misch (Margaret), Murray Misch (Susan Clarke), Susanne Maltby (the late Fred), Wendy Doyle (Brian Mount), Doris Wellman (Ray), Marylou Amos (the late Doug), Cathy Misch (the late Harold Knute), Sandra Tosh (Ken), and Darren Misch (Carol). Also survived by twenty-three grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. Predeceased by her first husband Carl Misch, second husband Carl Evans, children Julie and Randy Misch in infancy, and brother Ron Stade. Remembered by her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. The family would like to thank all the staff at Royal Terrace Nursing Home for all their love and care for Virginia. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, Monday (2-4 and 7-9 p.m.), and Tuesday (10-11 a.m.). A memorial service to celebrate Virginia’s life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, August 5, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow in the Wall-Custance Family Reception Centre. Interment Eden Mills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Royal Terrace Nursing Home, 600 Whites Rd., Palmerston, ON N0G 2P0 or the Heart & Stroke Foundation, 204-21 Surrey St. W., Guelph, ON N1H 3R3 would be appreciated.
